1 More Win
And 25 years of futility in Philadelphia sports ends. Hollywood Hamels on the mound tonight, wrapping up the World Series and taking home the MVP hardware. You heard it here first… or tenth.

B) Pro-America America

E) People who picked the Phillies to win the Series in an ESPN poll
Just in case you were wondering, if you’re in a red state, you’re a moron. Sorry. It’s science.
A couple of interesting things to note:
Before Saturday’s game, Tim McGraw, famous for being the son of Tug McGraw, scattered a handful of Tug’s ashes on the mound before throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. Clearly, Tug influenced Chooch’s winning swinging bunt in the bottom of the 9th.
Before Sunday’s game, John Kruk scattered a handful of John Kruk’s left testicle on the mound. Clearly, the Krukker’s cancerous organ added the juice to those Ryan Howard bombs.

Love the Tugger - and I’m old enough to easily remember the series well. Love Tim McGraw, a class act. But excuse me? Tim made it on his own, Tug did the same. Tim is NOT famous for being the son of Tug McGraw, he’s famous for being a great country western singer. Sorry. There are worlds out there than baseball. Not right now for us Phillies fans, but lets not forget that we have to return to that world.
