In an ESPN article discussing the career and possible retirement of Mike Alstott, the frequent pro-bowling fullback for the Bucs, Len “Big Fats” Pasquarelli lets it be known that Alstott is “known as the ‘A-Train’”. WTF?. The “A-Train”, Len? Really? That’s interesting because I have never once heard him referred to by that nickname. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe Alstott was the first and original “A-Train”. Maybe I just missed the boat on this one. Or is this just another case of the Nickname Train grinding into Station Overkill?

I think I’m with Larry on this one. Except for the “half- to a quarter of a man” part. I’d like to give myself a little more credit than that.
