GMaps Pedometer

Here’s an awesome use of Google maps. For those of you unaware, Google distributed an API for their map program, allowing people to create useful applications with Google Maps at their cores. For anyone who runs, walks, or bikes outdoors, this program is fantastic. Just double-click on the map to create a route, and this program will trace your route, calculate the distance, and give you a way to save your route and bookmark it for later use… [Gmaps Pedometer]
